We are proud of our pioneering history at Ivison Trust, have a look at some of our milestones.

2024

Pace (Parents Against Child Exploitation) was renamed Ivison Trust and a new visual identity was launched in memory of our founder, Irene Ivison.

Ivison Trust is announced the overall winner of the Kings Fund Award for improving the health and wellbeing outcomes for families affected by child exploitation.

Out of hours Parent Support Line is launched.

Specialist counselling for families affected by child exploitation is launched.

2022

Pace (Parents Against Child Exploitation) features on BBC Radio 4 Appeal.

Towards Hope campaign is launched.

2020

Research highlighting Parent’s experiences of Children’s Social Care Services is launched in Westminster.

2017

ACSEP, Advanced Child Sexual Exploitation qualification is launched.

Research highlighting the health impacts on families affected by child sexual exploitation is published.

2013

CROP becomes Parents Against Child Exploitation (PACE).

2009

Edge of the City documentary aired, raising awareness about CSE (child sexual exploitation), featuring the lived experience of families supported by Ivison Trust in Rochdale, Halifax, Huddersfield and Rotherham.

Ivison Trust’s Relational Safeguarding Model is developed and launched.

2007

Pioneering national conference “Prosecuting the Criminal” encouraging safeguarding professionals to focus on the offenders, not just the victims and families.

2001

Partnership with the Home Office to conduct research into Child Sexual Exploitation in Rotherham.

2000

Irene Ivison sadly passes away.

1997

 Irene Ivison’s book, “Fiona’s Story” is published.

Irene consults with the government to write the National Plan to Prevent Sexual Exploitation of Children and the Sexual Offences Review.

1996

CROP (Coalition for the Removal of Pimping) is launched by Irene Ivison and a group of affected parents.
